In 2000, Robert Illesh served as the lead guitarist in Fragile, the first Yes tribute band to form in the UK. After the band split up in 2007, Robert Illesh had been working on some original material with the Fragile members for a while resulting in the release of an album as Aquaplanage.
He also joined Steve Grant’s Barockestra. This is a band who play rocked up versions of baroque and classical music wearing period costume, accompanied by 4 ballet dancers, tenor and soprano opera singers.
IN 2024, he joined up Aquaplanage and Fragile associate Jon Bastable.
