Nice acoustic feel to this album. Flutes and acoustic guitars are prominent throughout. Quite a pastoral feeling in the music. Definitely a must for flute lovers. Some of it even reminds me of early King Crimson with bad sounding mellotron tapes. As usual with most italian bands, the vocals are weak. I wonder why italian prog singers are so bad, coming from a country where singing is almost a cultural must.
Anyways, I was quite surprised to hear this type of music from some of the musicians having contributed to Picchio dal Pozzo's albums(which sounds more like Zappa during the Uncle Meat era).

The Italian scene was extensive in the 70’s and with a mountain of CD reissues available,
picking out the best from the ‘not so good’ can be daunting for someone new to the scene.
The debut from Celeste is one of the better Italian albums and one of the least known, at
least when compared to PFM, Banco or Le Orme. This is very
laid back and quiet music far removed from the bombast of Il Balletto Di Bronzo
or Osanna. With suggestive/ phallic cover art, Celeste played a romantic and
sensual music, wonderfully played and typically Italian.
