Colin Masson on the release;
The original recording was an improvisation on nylon string guitar which was subsequently worked up into the piece that you hear here. The guitar was a single take which was then edited to give the piece some structure.This was followed by the overdubs on the electric guitar, then the orchestral parts were added using Garritan personal Orchestra 5 (this was quite challenging as there is no click to follow, and the tempo varies quite a bit). Total recording time about 2 days.this an interesting workflow which I might well use again.
