With 1977's Iguacu, the trademark Passport sound can be found all over the place however I feel that this music does not have the energy or passion that previous and some subsequent ones do.

Iguacu is harmless enough - filled with radio-friendly music (Bahia Do Sol could have easilly found a home on a number of mid-70's albums) - some Brazillian influenced, some sounding like Tom Scott and the LA Express (check out guna Guna) and some disco influence - no surprise given the year of release. Prominent feature time is given to the guitar of Roy Lewis and he does a fine job. Curt Cress is the drummer here - always a highlight in a Passport album while Doldinger's sax has a supporting role in songs more often than usual.

Start with pre-Iguacu releases by this band (all of them) and perhaps one post Iguaco release Sky Blue/Ataraxia. After this portion of your catalog is completed - you may find a good place for Iguacu.
