Tim Burness has worked two years on his latest album Interconnected. For this he was assisted by three very talented musicians and also his co-producer Julian Tardo.
Compared to his previous record, Interconnected is more of a prog-pop album. Except for a seven minutes ambitious track and a short instrumental, all the other songs are in the 2 to 4 minutes range. They all feature nice singing parts and top level musicianship. From song to song the mood changes from dark to playful, with much in between. Steve Hackett's poppier material does come to mind when listening to Interconnected.
Yet again Tim Burness has given us a very polished and creative album that is sure to please his fans... and hopefully find him some new ones.
You can listen to Interconnected on Tim's Bandcamp site. Give him a try and if you enjoy his music... well you know what to do.
