Divided We Fall is the excellent new album album by French band The Black Noodle Project. Their music is in most part instrumental with a couple of songs having vocals.

The band's music is strongly rooted in the early seventies and, even though they don't really sound like them, I am reminded of Pink Floyd (circa ''Echoes"). Another band with a similar vibe is Djam Karet on their recent album The Trip.

Divided We Fall is a CD I have enjoyed from beginning to end. I can't say the band has reinvented their musical genre, but they have produced an album that is sure to please fans of the bands I listed in this review.

Recommended indeed!
