In januari 1972 Alquin performs in the concert hall "Paradiso" in Amsterdam under their new name. These concerts and some great demo tapes gave the band a record contract with Polydor. At the end of 1972 "MARKS" was released. In the Dutch Musicpaper "OOR" readers called Alquin " the most trentsetting band".(1973) The music is a early Prog-Rock with some Sax/Violin.
