KBB fans will not be surprised that (in my opinion) this is yet another high quality release from the band. The album meets all my expectations with amazing violin playing and some great interplay between violin and keys. The whole album is very melodic, albeit without complex harmonies for the majority of the time. KBB have already proven that such complexities are not necessary.

The album holds me from the start all the way to the end. Inner Flames is a great starting track; violin led with some good keys work and a nice eastern feel. It has an almost typical KBB furious start followed by a softer interlude leading to a frantic ending. 40 Degrees is another notable track with some good bass work. That said it is difficult to have favourites as this really is an album to listen to all the way through, at one time.

KBB have done it again, this is an album I'd recommend highly. That's not a bad recommendation as I openly don't usually like fusion. KBB are a bit special though, I'm a long-term fan.
