I had never heard of this great drummer (shame shame!!). Flight Time is one of the best fusion album I have heard in quite a while.

Musically what comes to my mind is Livestock by Brand X, but with slightly more of an acoustic approach and less emphasis on the technical side. There are also hints of Cantenburry à la National Health. Yet again, on a couple of pieces, the band comes closer to Jazz than Fusion and Pat Metheny may come to mind.

This album is now available in "Digital Mastering" cd so even those who already own it should consider buying it again. A definitive "must have" for Jazz and Fusion fans.
