From the Porcupine Tree web site: The recording on this CD is taken from a live broadcast for Polish Radio Program III, Warsaw on April 6th 2001. Also in the studio during the broadcast was an invited audience who helped to make the atmosphere on the night and on this recording so special. This CD features the entire performance with the exception of Tinto Brass. All of the music was recorded to 32 track digital tape and remixed at No Man¹s Land in June 2001.

The concert featured on "Warzawa" was given only a few weeks before the one I attended at Nearfest 2001, for which I have very positives memories. After listening to the CD I must conclude that the two concerts were basicly identical which meens one thing... incredible music.

Like for the band's previous live album from 1997 "Coma Divine", almost all the songs seem to be energized in a live setting (compared to their studio versions), this IMO mainly because of the stronger presence of the drums.

If, like me, you think that PT is the best band out there, you will add this great album to your collection. If you have never heard of them, this is as good a place as any to get aquainted with them.
