Releasing only 4 albums, a DVD and a maxi-cd in over 15 years these Neo-proggers are perhaps not the most productive band. This 2009 release of Vision they have released an album that will be top 3 listed for many Neo-prog lovers.
The 8 tracks album include 3 tracks over 10 minutes and almost 80 minutes of music.
Opening track (Boatman's Vision) has 23:12 minutes of IQ-related instrumental keyboard/guitar melodies with vocals of Kai Marckwordt who is also responcable for the lyrics. His voice is a mixture of Jon Anderson-(Clepsydra's Aluiso Maggini)and Fish.
By the time the song finished i was singing along-- Guardian Angels....(Catchy chorus)
Second track is Fish/Gabriel like track. Snapshots is an accoustic track.
A great Concern is a 1 minute intro to Much More which is like Red and Green and The Contact great songs in vein of Mike Holmes' (IQ guitars) and Martin Orford (IQ keyboards) material. Compliments to Bjorn Bisch and Oliver Rebhan. !!
For the lovers of IQ/Arena/Marillion/Peter Gabriel ect: This is 80 minutes of Neo-Prog pleasure.
