We morn the passing and honor the memory of our friend Don Satuloff (aka Satch, DixieDregs) who left us on 6 Aug after an 18 month battle with cancer.
Don was an original member of Proggnosis and he was the one who gave this web site its' name.
Don knew more music than just about anyone and his love for his family, of music, of hot sauces and of craft beers were a common topic of conversation.
Our thoughts are with his wife Natalie and daughter Charlie.

Sad news indeed Doug, Satch, as we knew him was a character, I can thank him for my own introduction to you as well as some of our other members in the beginning of the Proggnosis adventure. He was always excited to turn me onto new music, as we were kindred spirits in the music world, we both were obsessively in love with fusion, as well as the more complicated variations of prog. I will certainly miss his presence.
It did come as a surprise to me, as we had seemed to grow apart after my own health struggles. Long live Satch's memories.
