A key member of Passport, in 1975 drummer Curt Cress released his first solo album - the Curt Cress Clan in 1975. The members of that 1975 band lineup became the band Snowball.
For the most part following the end of the 70's Cress played as a session drummer (Fredy Mercury, Meat Loaf, Rick Springfield, Tina Turner, Westernhagen, Nena,Falco, Mike Batt, Alphaville and others).
He was a one time member of Orange Peel, Triumvirat, Saga, Atlantis as well a member of Lucifer's Friend. In addition to some sporadic solo releases, he has written and produced film soundtracks.
