Kosmos is a folk-progressive group from Turku, Finland with ties to Vilma who are also from Turku. A number of members who played on Kosmo's first album, Tarinoita Voimasta also performed on Vilma's CD, Ajatuksia Mailman Laidalta and Kimmo Lähteenmäki continues to play in both groups.
As a general description, listeners will find the music of Kosmos to lean mostly in the direction of early 70's progressive-folk with psych leanings.
