Framauro (the name of the band comes from the name a surname of 15th century Yenice astronomy Fra-Mauro) was established in 1996 in Kraków, Poland by Ryszard Kramarski and his cousins - Stach Kramarski and Tomasz Pabian.
Framauro makes music with melodic guitars, symphonic/celestial keyboards, 60's style keyboards, bass, drums and vocals. The vocals are sung in Polish. Musically they might be compared to fellow Polish band Collage.
Through Framauro and the release of Etermedia in 1998, Kramaski founded Lynx Music. Shortly afterwards, Framauro was shelved and the bands Millennium and later The Ryszard Kramarski Project (tRKproject) were formed.
In 2021, Karmaski decided to bring his first music project, Framauro, back to life and a new recording is released in 2022.
