Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Alexandra Zerner is a solo artist, guitar player, multi-instrumentalist and composer.

She has been working as a session musician, sound engineer and guitar teacher since 2001 and she’s currently endorsed by EMG Pickups, Kahler Tremolo Systems, and Lizard Spit Music Care Products.

Her solo works include the albums “9 Stories” (2014), “Aspects” (2015), “An Evening Walk” EP, (2016), “Opus 1880” (2018).

Alexandra participated as a guest musician in “Thoughtscanning” (2014) by We All Die (Laughing) (guitarist), “The Path To Atlas” (2015) by Aurora Borealis (guitarist, keyboardist, and composer), “The Four Seasons” (2016) by Vivaldi Metal Project (guitarist), “Follow Me” (2019) by Sevi (guitarist, keyboardist, and composer).

In mid-August 2016 Alexandra won Nili Brosh’s “A Matter of Perception” Melody Contest, picked by a jury of guitar greats – Nili Brosh, Jason Becker, Greg Howe, and Marco Sfogli, and was awarded an EMG pickups endorsement deal.

On 14th of April, 2018 Alexandra participated in “Female Guitarist Round Table Discussion” with Jennifer Batten, Gretchen Menn, Nili Brosh, Nikki Stringfield, and Yvette Young.

Alexandra appeared in many charts, sites, and magazines including “Top 15 Hard Rock & Metal Female Guitar Shredders” chart by (2014), “Independent Shredder of the Month” at (2016), “Top 10 Female Shredders” chart by (2017), she’s been mentioned by Jason Becker in the October 2015 edition of “Guitar Player” magazine, along with Jeff Loomis, about her cover of Jason Becker’s classic “Perpetual Burn”. Her last album “Opus 1880” receives numerous highly positive reviews in many sites and magazines.

She performed as a support act in Sofia Bulgaria for Stu Hamm and Greg Howe (November 2016) and Dream Theater (July 2019).
