Bad Dreams is an internationally acclaimed Argentine progressive rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1990 by keyboardist Jorge Tenesini. For their first decade, the band operated exclusively as a highly respected Genesis tribute act, earning praise from Genesis fans worldwide (and even getting mentions on Steve Hackett's official website).

After years of perfecting the classic symphonic prog sound, they stepped out of their comfort zone and began writing original music, resulting in their widely celebrated 2014 debut album, Apocalypse of the Mercy. Driven by Tenesini's massive array of vintage keyboards and the powerful, theatrical vocals of Gabriel Agudo, their sound sits comfortably in the Neo-Prog and classic symphonic realms.

Bad Dreams quickly gained international traction, becoming a staple on the famous Cruise to the Edge progressive rock festival (performing in 2015, 2017, and 2018). They have opened for Steve Hackett and shared the stage with Marillion's Steve Rothery.

Following the release of their 2017 album Chrysalis, lead singer Gabriel Agudo left the band to pursue a highly successful solo career and join Dave Kerzner’s prog supergroup In Continuum. Vocalist/keyboardist Dennis Atlas was subsequently brought in to front the band.
