Born: John Roy Anderson, Oct 25, 1944 in Accrington, Lancashire, England
First recording was with The Warriors in 1964. Started a solo carreer as Hans Christian Anderson in 1967.
Both projects flopped. Jon Anderson's succes as the singer of YES started in 1968. He also has had many collaborations with the Greek keyboard wizard Vangelis
