Like in most version albums, here we have some very good tracks and others that were not so well achieved. Some which are faithfull to the originals and others that take a completely different approach (that may or not result). The best ones, that I would really recommend a listen (or many, to that case) would be the opening act by Gerard (a vivid and lively version of ELP’s Toccata), Blue Shift (a close yet always enjoyable version on Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song, Quidam (an inventive and fresh take on Deep Purple’s Child in Time) and Dificil Equilibrio (an infectious take on Gong’s Dynamite). The only bonus (previously unreleased) track - Thierry Crusem & L’Autre Systeme is a good add, with a real different approach on KC’s Exiles.
All in all, this is a cool and interesting collection, with some great performances by completely different bands (style like) that should appeal to fans of this kind of recordings.
