I saw Jethro Tull live in Québec City in late 2004 or early 2005 and they had played almost all the tracks from Aqualung on that night. I was completely blown away by that performance, so it is nice to get the chance to listen to some of that music with Aqualung Live
I don't see any use in talking about the tracks on this album. They are the same and in the same order as on the original LP. Most of the songs are done pretty closely to the originals, but with a less electric... more acoustic mood. Like the concert I was at, the band's performance is near perfect and the sound of the album is great.
For myself, I must admit to liking more this version of Aqualung than the one from 35 years ago. The mood is softer, less agressive... am I getting old?
