COMMENTS & REVIEWS

Since first hearing Trusties, I was not sure what to think of them, strange band name, not atypical of any Finnish band that I have become acquaited with, and a style that fell somewhere between progrock and progmetal. Fact is everytime I do listen to them, I like what I am hearing. They are good musicians, and have a knack for putting the "rock" into their progressive.  They are heavy, but they are not metal. There are other bands that tread dangerously close to this territory, and they all seem to have a pretty good reputation amoung their fans.  I think of bands like: Nemo, Splinter, Toxic Smile, Magic Pie as a few of the bands that are in similar territory.

So if you have read this far into this review, definitely take a few minutes to check them out at their My Space link, I think if you are a fan of hard rock infused progressive rock, you may find this band a welcome addition to your listening pleasures. Lot's of good guitars, and solid drumming, with vocals that are not hard on the ears.
