The album focus's heavily on keys which are predominantly electronic. The closest comparison I have for the keys playing is Jean Micheal-Jarre in relation to the sounds/effects used. However the musical style is generally more laid back and progressive in nature with some obvious classical influences. The album's focus is no surprise as Luca Scherani is a keys player with one or two notable credits.
The various guests on the album add a lot of texture to the sound. I particularly like the violin on In The Darkness. This track has a classical piano start, After Crying style which like. The violin joins as the electronic keys and effects kick in . The result is a good build up that is very melodic. The album isn't one of tension, the build-up is relaxed but well done. Anonimous has a nice classical guitar start which then moves between a sinister / dramatic section and a laid back sound. There are some good contrasting textures on the album although I wonder if there could be more. For me, this is the best track on the album. Soli is also worth a mention, this has some good singing (in Italian) together with some nice keys effects.
Overall this is not a bad album, not ground-breaking but well done.
