COMMENTS & REVIEWS

The story of this band is most representative that sometimes perseverance and belief can, even if more than 20 years later, make the dreams come true!
A band of great musicians and musicianship that did not have a chance during the 70’s and that, in this new millennium have been given their deserved chance to finally achieve the fruition of their hopes, dreams and…obviously, talent. It also makes you wonder how many more bands such as this one may have been lost in time, never to be recognized properly…

With a sound that may be identified in the crossroads of symphonic keyboard driven progressive, such as ELP and Canterbury, Glass presents music that takes its time, slowly building a wall of sounds based on the ability of the players, to then experiment and explore to the infamous detail the rocks that build the whole structure.
Recorded live in 2002 and 2003, the Sherman brothers have been graced with the opportunity to really demonstrate their musical ideas with the company of such notables as Richard Sinclair, Elton Dean and Hugh Hopper that really take the resulting sound to a whole new level. The performances on this live album are stellar, doing justice to the band musicians and the guests that showed up to enlighten it even more.

For those who like the good old 70’s sympho with a whole dose of Canterbury school, this band, and again this album, will be a great discovery!
