This a short and sweet 5 song demo from this upstart band, they are led by violinist - Miki Fujimoto and are an all-instrumental quitet, and allow Miss Fujimoto to provide the voice for the bands' music. Obviously the band has a similar feel to another Japanese band KBB, but they also stray away from symphonic structures into more angular music, reminding me a little of Boud Deun or Ozone Quartet, so it's symphonic, rock, and fusiony music that is sure to appeal to fans of those bands, and the violin in particular.
The cd is just 5 songs, and fairly short in length, so while that is not a lot to base a full review on, there is enough quality music being delivered on this demo to provide the prog public at large a heads up for a band that is very professional, competent and poised to do great things, should they stay the way of these songs. While Fujimoto is the main voice in the band with her smooth and precise touch on the violin, she is also surrounded by a full band of her musical equals, and one can easily hear that on this cd, I can only hope that a future release of a full length cd is in the making, maybe some epic length songs, and more displays of the band's musical prowess, until then, this is it, a promising demo from a promising band (officially available as a release from Vital! Records VR-016) -- fans of KBB take note!
