COMMENTS & REVIEWS

I have been introduced to this excellent artist only recently, with her latest CD: Angels Abacus (see my other review).

Compared to it's successor, I consider that Four Walls Bending is more in the "Prog/Fusion" genre. For example, the album begins with a killer track "Velvet Eye", that would fit well on a Gilmour led Pink Floyd CD. On this track the great guitar play of Morris Acevedo should be underlined. In style and in sound he somewhat reminds me of Allan Holdsworth. I should emphasize that all the musicians and tracks on Four Walls Bending are excellent.

In my opinion Four Walls Bending is possibly an even better place (than Angels Abacus) , for the Prog/Fusion fan to introduce himself to Emily Bezar's music. She is a very rare jem in the art rock universe, having one of the purest voice I have had the chance to listen to. Highly recommended indeed.
