Born Feb 15, 1958 , The son of Elektra records president Jac Holzman, this allowed him access to all kinds of musical influences while growing up. He later became inspired by progressive rock bands such as: ELP & Yes, and later he was moved by the jazz/fusion scene by Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea's Return to Forever. He has since stayed the way of a fusion musician doing stints with the legendary Miles Davis, Michel Petrucciani, Wayne Shorter, Grover Washington Jr. etc. He has fronted his own fusion bands as well having to fine recordings with The Fents, and also with Mona Lisa Overdrive. He currently has been involved with his band Brave New World.
