"Well, first of all, it means borrowing from a great store of devices – those pertaining to different styles and genres (we use elements of jazz, rock, funk, folklore, chamber music, etc.) and various expressive devices (from traditional brass and ancient folk instruments to modern electronic equipment). Besides, there is a play of words invol­ved as the first three letters of the word "arsenal" form the word "ars" which means "art" in Latin.
The ensemble's name also implies hope that all the arsenals of weapon in the world will eventually be replaced with art collections and artists' studios."
